Step 1: Gather Ingredients
1 ripe avocado
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt Dash cayenne pepper
Step 2: How to Make Avocado Dressing
Mash the avocado with the lemon juice.
Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender.
Puree until smooth
Step 3: Avocado Dressing Ingredients
Replace sour cream with buttermilk for a thinner dressing.
Add 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds if desired.
If you prefer a sweeter dressing, add 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Add 2 tablespoons of cilantro to give the dressing more of a Mexican flair
Substitute for Worcestershire sauces
Steak sauce such as A1 brand, Soy Sauce, or make your own:
Combine: 1 tsp tamarind paste, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp cider or white vinegar, dash hot pepper sauce, scant
pinch cloves.
