MOVIES
Here are my favorite movies. They are positively entertaining and family friendly. There are a lot of good Life Lessons you can take and use. Personally I love movies that are everyday life based that teach you some kind of lesson or give you advice. Most of these movies are the ones that you do not have to worry if your kids are around or watching with you. Otherwise I don't like watching movies, I count it as waste of time, plus, I don't like watching TV a lot. I grew up without television till I turned eleven. At first my parents couldn't afford one, and plus they believed it was useless and could harm child development as they grow. Then we got our first TV set, and we had only one local channel, which had lots of commercials and ads, nothing entertaining. I was 19 years old when we finally got cable. At first, it seemed like I was watching it a lot. But then in a few months, I got sick and tired of it and thought I lost and wasted a lot of time when I could be doing something useful. So, nowadays I only watch TV or movies, when someone recommends a film, or when I rest or have nothing else to do--which is very rare, there is always something to do. Below are the movies, films and TV series I would recommend watching. I mean, when you have so many choices, I would choose these instead of other, because I tend to be picky about what I watch; that is I tend to be careful about what I watch and what kind of images I put into my MIND.

Little House on the Prairie (Series 1974-1983)Again, I would read the series of books (by Laura Ingalls) first then watch the TV series. I personally LOVE this TV series, a lot can be learned for everyday life and history.
Little House (on the Prairie) is a series of children's books by Laura Ingalls Wilder that was published originally between 1932 and 1943 |
